The National Trust recalls biscuits due to a labelling error
What happened
The National Trust is recalling a range of biscuits as they have been prepared and manufactured in a factory that also handles peanuts and/or tree nuts and is missing ‘may also contain peanuts or tree nuts’ within the allergen statement on the label. This means the products are a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy to peanuts and/or tree nuts.
Official consumer advice
If you have bought any of the above products and have an allergy to peanuts and/or tree nuts, do not eat them. Instead return them to the place from where they were bought for a full refund.
