Update 6 – Several brands recall products containing mustard because they may be contaminated with peanut
What happened
Several brands are taking the precautionary step of recalling a number of spice products that contain mustard, because they may contain peanuts which are not mentioned on the label. This means the products are a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy to peanuts. This Allergy Alert should be read in conjunction with FSA-AA-42-2024 (Update 12). Update 6 - This recall has been extended to include additional products which have been identified with an asterisk by **
Official consumer advice
If you have bought any of the above products and have an allergy to peanuts, do not eat them. Instead return them to the store from where they were bought for a full refund.
