Leader Formulas, LLC. recall: Preworkout Dietary Supplement Powder
Leader Formulas, LLC. of Tomball, TX, is voluntarily recalling one (1) lot of RAPTURE Pre workout, a dietary supplement powder because it was found to contain 1,3-Dimethylamylamine (DMAA) and sold at the consumer level. Using DMAA can result in elevated blood pressure and could lead to cardiovascular problems, including heart attack, shortness of breath and tightening of the chest.
What to do
The issue was discovered in the product during testing by the FDA. Leader Formulas, LLC. is notifying its distributors and customers by mail and is arranging for return of all recalled products. Consumers who have purchased the RAPTURE Preworkout products which are being recalled should stop using the products and return to the place of purchase for a full refund. Consumers should contact their physician or healthcare provider if they have experienced any problems that may be related to taking or using this drug product. Adverse reactions or quality problems experienced with the use of this product may be reported to the FDA's MedWatch Adverse Event Reporting program either online, by regular mail or by fax.
